We can be designers of our future, we can step into full co-creatorship with others who share a common vision and who see the more beautiful world in front of us. As designers of a world where we move from ‘weaponry to livingry,’ we must come together and dialogue about the big issues we are facing and about the future we believe is possible. We are at the threshold of a New Story and at the heart of this shift is the story of interbeing “that acknowledges our relational nature and interdependence. Our guest today, Daniel Christian Wahl, is a Glocal (global to local) educator, activist and consultant, focused on whole systems design and transformative innovation for regenerative cultures. He was director of Findhorn College between 2007 and 2010, and is a member of the International Futures Forum since 2009 and Gaia Education since 2007. He’s also the author of the newly published book “Designing Regenerative Cultures” which as Fritjof Capra writes “…is a valuable contribution to the important discussion of the worldview and value system we need to redesign our businesses, economies, and technologies – in fact, our entire culture – so as to make them regenerative rather than destructive.” You can find out more about Daniel’s vision and ideas at: https://medium.com/@designforsustainability.
