Originally known as “The Dirty Sock Girl” , Barb was a introduced to Contact Talk Radio while psychoanalyzing her issues of walking around in her dreams with “Dirty Socks”. Later in 2003 she volunteered answering phones for Cameron & Lucia-Davindia on Monday Nights & “The Monday Night Call Girl” was born. Since then she’s been a familiar voice to CTR on various Commercial Spots, as well as a frequent guest on their show. In late 2010, Barb came on full time with Contact Talk Radio as Program Manager. She has over 20 years experience in retail merchandising & marketing, as well as background in Film & Television….aka – I was a glorified “Extra” back in the day and Production Assistant. Quote, “I know how to get Directors their coffee really well”. In her spare time, Barb is an avid Film & Music fan, Ballroom Dancer & SIFF Member (Seattle International Film Festival), spending most her evenings attending any kind of an Opening (Movies, Art…newest Burger Joint with perhaps an attached Roller Rink!), Music shows or just plain watching TV.
Kiera began her radio career in 1995 when she saw that her favorite radio show was looking for interns. It only took a week of crazy rock star antics and celebrity meetings before she was hooked and never looked back. She switched her major to Radio Broadcasting and graduated with her B.A. in 1998. Over the years Kiera has taken her turn in front of and behind the microphone. When not hosting her own shows she has been involved with The Howard Stern Show, The Adam Carolla Show and Mancow’s Morning Madhouse. In her free time Kiera does stand-up comedy and can be seen all over Washington. Making people laugh is Kiera’s favorite thing to do. When she’s not writing and telling jokes, Kiera also enjoys playing pool, going on adventures with her two beautiful children and exploring the great outdoors. Kiera is thrilled to be working at Contact Talk Radio because she has great co-workers and gets to spend her days listening to enlightened people and learning how to live a better life.
