Just by adding some gelatinous plant foods to a fresh salad creates an internal environment that is conducive to sucking up the toxinsthat are floating around my digestive system. Chia is a perfect example of a gelatinous plant and is a favorite of mine. It turns into a gel that will pass into our intestinal tract and absorb toxins. Those toxins are then passed along through the colon and into the porcelain bowl where they can be flushed away; out of our body, out of sight, never to be reabsorbed back into our system. Seaweed is also good and is a great alternative to chia.
