HCG … Where Does It Come From?

HCG is very sensitive. HCG is usually collected from the urine of pregnant women. It is then processed and freeze dried. I know that sounds gross, right? Did you know that urine is sterile? It stays that way until it hits the urethra and exits the body. Yes, urine in the bladder is sterile. Did you know that astronauts actually drink water that has been processed from urine? Yes, urine is actually turned back into drinking water. It isn’t a big deal I assure you. There are drug companies out there making drugs from bodily fluids of animals. Done by an approved, accredited and sufficiently monitored manufacturing company, the hCG we get here in the states is safe and effective. Because hCG is very sensitive, it should not be premixed. It begins to lose efficacy approximately 72 hours after it is mixed into liquid form. I do believe this is the reason that some practitioners have to mix other ingredients with it when it is dispensed in a large quantity, in liquid form. Looking back on my own experience, I realized that the 30 day supply given me by my first hCG doctor, had in effect, stopped working. I believe the reason I got hungry and stopped losing was due to this issue although I did drop a clothing size so I didn’t think much of it at the time.
