For nearly four decades now I have been involved in health care, or more specifically, helping to attend to the needs of people who are, in some way, shape or form, out of balance. I am surprised to see, so often, the roots of one's present state of being related to something that happened to them in the past. I realize we all have a past, that we all have an incredible assortment of experiences from our past, ranging in degrees of intensity.
When I work with my coaching clients, the first step I help them take is adjusting their perspective about what really 'is' past, present and future. Understanding the 'reality' of these concepts is extremely powerful and can be instantly life changing.
We all strive, each and every moment, to move our 'selves' into directions that serve our higher purpose, hoping to achieve levels of peace, harmony and balance that allow for high functioning and a joyous experience in life.
If we can rise up each day in complete celebration of who we are, at this exact moment, good and bad, lumps and bumps as well as all of our shinny parts, we can begin anew to 'see' ourselves in relationship to all that surrounds us. Our perspective, originating from a place of power, compassion and understanding, will allow us to take hold what opportunities that are continually offered to us for our own perfection.
So I say, "Let Go to Grab On". Let Go of those past thoughts that pull you back, pull you down, diminish your beauty and possibility. Say aloud, "Does this serve me NOW?" and if the answer is "NO" then let it go. Whatever "IT" may be.
Then and only then can you be free, undaunted and prepared to fully see what is waiting for you. When you see it, then "Grab On".
Making Your Life Better,
