
Yes, that’s right. We don’t have an ERA! And it has been since 1922, when Alice Paul wrote and submitted it to Congress. Alice was a suffragette who helped secure the right to vote for women, also in 1922. The ERA has been re-introduced to Congress every year since. Women's rights are not protected by the Constitution...only men are created equal...
- It takes 38 states to ratify a constitutional amendment.
- Only 35 states have ratified the ERA, and the last one was done in 1982!
- That WAS 30 YEARS AGO!
