I wondered if the transformation from meeting women's personal needs from transformational to transactional as a woman matures may have something to do with the stage of life, in that while women are in their child bearing years are looking more for that assurance that a man will be there to raise the children with her

Then in later years, it becomes more about having her needs met, as opposed to worrying about the needs of her children/family
